on Saturday that it was changing the season’s schedule partially, after already

The US basketball
league has had 22 match postponements since the campaign began in 2021 due to
COVID-19 safety-related issues.

A Golden State Warriors vs Phoenix Suns match, slated to be played at the latter’s home turf, was
postponed on January 15 and will take place on March 4.

The problem to have
occurred during the contest was one related to COVID-19 contact tracing,
wherein the Phoenix side was left without the minimum of eight players for an
NBA contest to take place.

Grizzlies, on the
other hand, have had six games postponed in the current season, with five amongst
them taking place between January 20 and January 31 after the team returned to
the court.

Thunder had two of their contests postponed, but due to issues pertaining to
their opponents.

The Golden State
Warriors so far have faced only one match postponement – the Phoenix Suns game,
while the latter lost out on three games in January within a span of four days
for the lack of eight players  being
available for the match-up.
