Los Angeles Clippers scored a 118-108 triumph over Dallas Mavericks in Friday’s game. Kawhi Leonard’s 36 points and Paul George’s 29 gave the Clippers a comfortable win in the first-round playoff series on Friday night. 

Though, Luka Doncic was the top scorer of the game with a playoff career-high of 44 points, nine rebounds and assists, his team could not play up to the mark to clinch the game.

George said in a statement, “You’ve got to deal with adversity. We didn’t get down on ourselves. We just stayed positive. We rallied. We toughed it out. We just stuck to our principles, kept playing,” after the win against Dallas. 

Dallas Mavericks and Luka Doncic played in front of a home crowd of more than 17,000 people at the American Airlines Centre in Dallas on Friday. The season started with an empty arena but fans have started gathering as COVID norms have been eased.

The Clippers had suffered two back-to-back losses before making a comeback with a 10-point win over the Mavericks. Dallas take a 2-1 lead with Game 4 to be played on Sunday night.
