Nevada voters head to the polls on Tuesday to cast their ballots in primaries for the governor, secretary of state, Senate, House of Representatives and the state legislature.

The state saw early voting on May 28 and ran through Friday. The polls on Tuesday close at 10 p.m. ET.

Nonpartisan voters in Nevada cannot vote in the Democratic or Republican primaries. Mail ballots must be received or postmarked by Tuesday to be counted.

Voters in Nevada will elect one member to the U.S. Senate in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Barry Rubinson, Neil Scott, Joseph Destin, and Barry Lindemann are running in the general election for US Senate Nevada on November 8, 2022.

Incumbent Catherine Cortez Masto, Stephanie Kasheta, Corey Reid, and Allen Rheinhart are running in the Democratic primary for US Senate Nevada on June 14, 2022.

The candidates running in the Republican primary for U.S. Senate Nevada on June 14, 2022 are Sam Brown, William Conrad, William Hockstedler, Adam Laxalt, Sharellle Mendenhall, Tyler Perkins, Carlo Poliak and Paul Rodriguez.

The expectation of competitive general elections for three of Nevada’s four US House seats raised the midterm stakes for the Democrats.

For Governor, the leading Republican in the race is Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo. Other leading Republican candidates for governor include attorney and former boxer Joey Gilbert, who has received the state party endorsement; former U.S. Sen. Dean Heller; North Las Vegas mayor and former Democrat John Lee; and venture capitalist Guy Nohra.

The two Democrats running in the primary for Lieutenant governor are Debra March, the former mayor of Henderson, and Kimi Cole, a rural Democratic activist.

Cisco Aguilar is running for Secretary of State from the Democratic Party. Those from the Republican Party are as follows:

Democrat Aaron Ford is in for Attorney General. Two Republicans are running to take him on, of whom one is Sigal Chattah, a top GOP contender for attorney general. The other GOP candidate, Tisha Black, is a lawyer and former president of the Nevada Cannabis Association.

The contest for state treasurer features a Democratic incumbent Zach Conine. Michele Fiore is a leading GOP candidate for state treasurer. Fiore’s lower-key opponent is businessman Manny Kess.
