New York Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo has been found to sexually harassed multiple women after the New York attorney general’s investigation report was revealed on Tuesday. Attorney General Letitia James announced Cuomo to be guilty, reports CNN.

According to report, Cuomo harassed current and former state employees, as well as a number of women outside of state government.

James said her investigation found that Cuomo engaged in “unwelcome and non-consensual touching.”

Cuomo, a Democrat who received national plaudits for his handling of the COVID-19 problem in New York early in the pandemic, has been accused by at least eight women — past or present staffers — of using improper words and actions.

Cuomo’s aide former Charlotte Bennett in February alleged that the governor had asked her questions about her sex life in June 2020 in his office in the state Capitol. She told New York Times that she interpreted Cuomo’s comments to be “clear overtures to a sexual relationship.”

Cuomo was questioned by investigators from the attorney general’s office for over 11 hours last month.

Last year, he allegedly slid his hand beneath her top, according to one former employee.

Cuomo denied sexual harassment and is defying calls to quit from fellow New York Democrats and members of Congress.

The attorneys spoke to 179 individuals, several of the women who have accused the governor and top officials in the Cuomo administration, and have subpoenaed or acquired documents such as state data, emails, and text messages.

James said they reviewed 74,000 pieces of evidence and they painted a “deeply disturbing yet clear picture.”

Cuomo has been surrounded by several controversies.

In January, James unveiled a report of her review of how his administration handled nursing home deaths during the Covid-19 outbreak, which found that his administration undercounted by about 50% the deaths of nursing home residents.
