The NBA is back with a 13-game card on Wednesday, following a two-game series opener the previous day. While the LA Lakers got their championship ring, they lost the opener to Clippers.

The New York Knicks will take on the Indiana Pacers for their season opener. While the Knicks have signed coach Tom Thibodeau and drafted Obi Toppin, the Pacers will look forward to have T.J. Warren and and Myles Turner back from injuries.

Memphis Grizzlies will be hosting the San Antonio Spurs for their opener. Spurs would want to start the season on a positive note after a disappointing last season, which according to Sportskeeda, saw them not qualify for the play-offs for the first time in coach Gregg Popovich’s career.

Led by Ja Morant, the young Grizzlies would want to better their last season’s performance after a heartbreaking loss to the Portland Trailblazers in the Western Conference play-offs.

Both Chicago Bulls and Atlanta Hawks, who face each other for the opener, were not able to qualify for the play-offs lasts season and would want to do better this time. With star talent Zach LaVine along with new coach Billy Donovan, Bulls will look for a place in the play-offs.

Hawks on the other hand, would be confident with one of the best offseason this year, picking up Bogdan Bogdanovic, Danilo Gallinari and Rajon Rondo. Trae Young would however, continue to be their key player.
