Imagine a single bee in your house? Not a pleasant scenario, right? But what happens when you encounter a swarm of bees? Nothing, you stay cool. A professional beekeeper, Erika Thompson, went viral on social media after she posted a video of herself removing a swarm of bees with her bare hands.
The video of her removing the bees with bare hands went viral on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook and got her thousands of new admirers.

%u201CAfter a big storm, a swarm of bees settled under an umbrella in the courtyard of an apartment complex. Two separate concerned residents contacted me and asked me to rescue the bees to make sure they wouldn%u2019t be exterminated. About halfway through this removal, I realised these bees needed more than just a new home…these bees needed a new queen,%u201D Erika captioned the video on her Facebook page.
On her Twitter handle, she captioned the post, “The bees on this umbrella needed more than just a new home…they needed a new queen!”
In the video, it can be seen that she removed the bees and put them in an apiary, “so they could continue the important work they do in a place that%u2019s safer for them and for people.”
