Alyssa McGrath, an aide currently working in New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s administration has accused him of looking down her shirt and making suggestive remarks towards her and another aide, according to a newspaper report published on Friday.
McGrath alleged that Cuomo called her beautiful in Italian, asked her about her divorce and why she was not wearing her wedding ring. He also allegedly called Alyssa and another female colleague “mingle mamas,” the aide said in an interview with The New York Times.

While the current aide did not accuse Cuomo of inappropriate touching, multiple women have come forward publicly and accused Cuomo of sexual misconduct. Alyssa is the first current aide to publicly talk about Cuomo’s misbehaviour.
She has also said that the other colleague she is referring to is the same woman Cuomo is accused of groping in the Executive Mansion. The Governor’s lawyer said that Cuomo used the phrase “ciao bella”(hello beautiful) but has denied all allegations of sexual misconduct.

Cuomo may soon be facing impeachment investigations by the New York Assembly over the sexual accusations and questions about the governor’s administration mishandling data about COVID-19 nursing home deaths.
Charlotte Bennett’s attorney has said she will not cooperate with the investigation due to potential political interference. Bennette was one of the first former aides to go public with her accusations against Cuomo.
