Paris Hilton, who is an American media celebrity, businesswoman, singer and actor, shared the story behind her engagement ring days after she got engaged with her boyfriend Carter Reum. While she was On Air with Ryan Seacrest in her appearance on Monday, 40-year-old bride-to-be showed off her massive diamond ring and revealed that it is inspired by the La Palette cafe in Paris.

Hilton told Seacrest and his co-hosts that the emerald cut ring has a beautiful love story, and it’s called “The Paris.” Hilton also shared that her fiancé Reum designed it with the great-great-grandson of known French jeweler Louis Cartier, Jean Dousset. 

During the radio show, she continued talking about her ring, “I’m so obsessed with it…it has like 15 diamonds going around and then inside it has a ‘P’ with a sapphire.” On February 23 this year, the actor-singer made her first public appearance since she got engaged to Carter Reum as she went for a late-night dinner with her fiancé.

Hilton put her massive engagement ring on display, matching the sparkle to her shiny face mask. 40-year-old Reum proposed to Hilton after they dated for a year on February 13 while the couple celebrated her 40th birthday on a private island.
