Patrice Wilson, a Detroit nurse who was kidnapped early Saturday morning, has reportedly been found dead in Novi, FOX 2 reported quoting sources. The suspect, identified as Jamere Miller, remains missing.

Wilson was kidnapped from the parking lot outside DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital just after 7 am on Saturday. The suspect was identified as 36-year-old Miller, Wilson’s ex-boyfriend.

“He approached our victim as she was getting into the driver’s side of her vehicle he then got in the vehicle, forced her over, and fled with her inside,” Detroit Police Capt. Donna McCord told local media.

Police said the suspect was wearing a blonde wig at the time of the kidnapping.

“We are looking for Jamere Miller, a 36-year-old male, in connection with the kidnapping of Patrice Wilson, a female, which occurred today in the 4200 block of St. Antoine at approximately 7:40 a.m,” Detroit Police tweeted.

Several reports on Sunday stated that the 29-year-old victim was found dead in the trunk of her vehicle in Novi. The motive behind the murder was not known.

Patrice’s mother, Roslind, told local media that everything seemed normal when she spoke with her daughter earlier in the morning on Saturday.

“We were just kicking the breeze, and she told me when she got off she was going to go work out, take her a little nap like she does, and she was going to go to her other job this evening,” Roslind Livingston told Fox 2 Detroit.
