Several items
belonging to Brian Laundrie, the man who was Gabby Petito’s fiancé, have been
found in a Florida Park. A cadaver dog and the Sarasota County Medical Examiner
were seen examining the items on Wednesday. Brian has been missing since
September 14.

Brian’s family attorney
Steven Bertolino revealed that Chris and Roberta Laundrie, Brian’s parents
talked to the FBI and the North Port Police Department on Tuesday that they
intended to go and search for Brian in the early hours of Wednesday morning at
a park that he frequented, and they were met there by the Law enforcement as
per CNN.
After looking for some
time the search can be considered partially successful as although it did not
result in finding Brian, the authorities did succeed in finding some items that
belonged to the 23 year old.
It is not yet known what
items the police is in possession of or in what quantity, more details are
awaited.

Pasco County Sherriff’s
office revealed that a cadaver dog and two spotters were on the site and the
Sarasota County Medical Examiner was also called to the scene. The scene was
examined by a mobile unit along with the Lee County Sheriff’s office.
Brian and Gabby Petito
embarked on a cross-country trek in July in a converted van in order to visit
national parks. The couple’s travels were heavily documented on social media.
However, Laundrie returned home without Gabby on September 1. The two resided
with Laundrie’s parents at a house in North Point, Florida.
The 23 year old was
reported missing by her parents on September 11 after being unable to contact
her in spite of repeated attempts. Surprisingly, the girl’s fiancé denied any cooperation
with the investigators about her whereabouts.

Gabby’s dead body was found
on September 19 at the Wyoming’g Grand Teton National Park, a place that the
couple visited together. The medical examination revealed that she had been dead
for a period of three to four week with the cause of death being strangulation.
On September 14, Brian
went missing by telling his parents that he was going for a hike at a nature
preserve and has not been found since.
