The Florida police on Monday raided the home of Rebekah
Jones, former state COVID-19 data scientist. This happened after her dispute with
the state government as Jones has accused officials of trying to hide the extent of
the coronavirus pandemic, reported CNN.
Jonas was fired by the state Department of
Health in May, who received a search warrant by the Florida Department of Law
Enforcement at her home. The agency has started an investigation in this matter
whether the data scientist has accessed the messaging system of the state
government without any permission to urge employees to come out with
coronavirus deaths, according to an affidavit by an agent working on the case.

On the contrary Jones told CNN’s Chris Cuomo that she
had not accessed any messaging system of state unethically because she already
lost access to her government accounts after she was fired from her
designation.
“I’m not a hacker”, she said. The language used in the
message that the government said was sent is not at all the way I talk, Jones
added.
She shared a video on social media which was captured
on the camera in her house at 8:30 a.m., showing 10 gunned officers. The video shows
an officer pointing a gun at her daughter, son and husband but the video is
still unclear, quoted CNN.

Officers took all her computers, phone and several
hard drives and thumb drives, Jones added.
Last year also, Jones was charged with a case of stalking
after allegedly sharing explicit pictures of her previous boyfriend online and
the case is still pending, reported CNN.
