Aryan Nations have made threats against a Pride event in Tennessee. The threats have raised concerns about the safety and security of participants. As a result, organizers and local authorities moved quickly to implement increased security measures to ensure attendees’ safety.

The threat comes as Memphis is conducting the Mid-South Pride Festival on Saturday. Vanessa Rodley, President of the organization has told the media that there are multiple threats coming to the group as they are planning for the festival. She also claimed that the Aryan Nations has threatened to protest.

The Aryan Nations, a white supremacist organization known for inciting hatred and discrimination, allegedly threatened the Pride event. Such threats highlight the ongoing difficulties that the LGBTQ+ community faces in achieving equality and acceptance.

However, the organizers of the festival have ensured that all the threats have been flagged to the local police authorities, FBI and Homeland Security. Vanessa also said that the festival is safe and the team had multiple meetings with authorities before the preparation.

Despite these threats, Tennessee Pride organizers remain committed to hosting a successful and safe event. They send a powerful message by demonstrating courage, strength, and determination that hate will not stop them from celebrating love, acceptance, and the vibrant diversity of the LGBTQ+ community.
