Queen Creek police have asked residents in Ellsworth Road and Sierra Park Boulevard to remain indoors after shots were fired in the area, ABC 15 reported. Brandon Pickett Elementary School nearby has been placed on a modified lockdown.

So far no injuries have been reported. Police have detained two people but, as per ABC 15, a third person, believed to be armed, is still being searched for in the area. The person was believed to be armed.

The suspect has been described as a dark-skinned male, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, thin build, wearing dark clothes, white tennis shoes and a dark-colored beanie.
