A mass shooting incident at the Beyond Wonderland Music Festival that is currently being held at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, Washington has resulted in multiple injuries. Several videos of people running in chaos were shared on social media.

A suspect, as per multiple reports, is in custody. The incident took place at around 8:40 PM on Saturday when police were called on an ‘active shooter’ alert. Quincy is in Grant County, about 113 miles southeast of Seattle.
“Active shooter at Gorge Amphitheater. If at the Gorge, seek cover. Run hide or fight the suspect if you encounter him,” the Grant County Sheriff’s Office said in an initial alert. “The incident took place in the camp ground NOT the concert venue.”
However, at around 9:15 PM local time, it was reported that the suspect is in custody.

“Gorge shooter in custody. The incident took place in the camp ground NOT the concert venue,” the Grant County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.
“Please avoid the Gorge Gate H campgrounds area as it is closed due to an incident that has been handled by local authorities. There is no current danger to festival-goers or the campgrounds,” Beyond Wonderland said on Twitter.
The open-air venue can host up to 27,500 people. It was scheduled to host Beyond Wonderland, an electronic dance festival, on Saturday.
“Confirmed: 2 separate airlift “life flight” helicopters en route to the Gorge, coordinating their landing at the festival now,” a Twitter user said.

“Im listening to the scanner for Grant county, for the people at the Gorge, I just want you to know that they have the shooter in custody but there are injured on site, Please everyone be safe I love you all!” another one added.
The suspect has not been identified yet.
