Rapper Lil Durk and his girlfriend were allegedly ‘shot at’ in his home during a home invasion. On Sunday, July 11, the rapper Durk Derrick Banks and his girlfriend India Royale were the victims of an invasion and violent attack.

According to TMZ, the 28-year-old’s home in the Chateau Elan neighbourhood of Braselton was broken into by multiple unidentified individuals (outside Atlanta). The home invasion transpired approximately at 5 in the morning just before gunfire commenced.

Both Lil Durk and India were unharmed throughout the horrific event, according to the Mirror.

DJ Akademiks remarked on the ‘heavy police presence’ in the neighbourhood following the event.

“Lil Durk’s residence in Atlanta had heavy police presence and was possibly raided due to an investigation about a shooting and other crimes,” Akademiks explained. “They said there was an alleged shooting around where he lived at.”

The media figure, whose real name is Livingston Allen, went on to say: “This is a gated community, they called him the victim. His neighbours and people that lived in that community have reported it to me that like, ‘Yo, Durk live down there and there are mad cops. FBI is trying to execute a search warrant’.”

Meanwhile, Lil Durk has been gearing up for The Back Outside Tour with Lil Baby.

He’ll be performing at Cleveland’s Summer Jam 2021 on August 27th, before the duo starts touring in September.

OTF DThang, his older brother, was shot at and murdered outside a strip joint in Chicago.

According to acquaintances, his friend and fellow rapper King Von was shot and killed in an Atlanta incident in November 2020.

The American rapper has a dedicated following of 2.3 million admirers on his Instagram account after he catapulted to prominence as a musician.

During the early hours of the morning, gunfire erupted outside Atlanta’s Monaco Hookah Lounge between two groups.
