Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth, known for films like “The Avengers” and “Thor”, has a strong connect with India. The actor, who has turned 37 today, visited the country to shoot his film “Extraction” that also starred Indian star Randeep Hooda. Not only this, he has also named his daughter India.

During an Interview with IANS, Hemsworth, who is happily married to model and actor Elsa Pataky, reveals the reason behind his daughter’s name.

While promoting his film “Men in Black: International” in 2019, the actor said, “My wife spent lot of time in India and that was where the name originally came from.”

Hemsworth and Pataky are also proud parents of Sasha and Tristan.

The actor was in India to shoot “Extraction” and he also shared a happy picture on his Instagram account during that time.

According to IANS, the actor also said that he “love the place and the people”.

“Shooting there… There were thousands of people on the streets every day and I have never experienced that on set. It was sort of intimidating as it was exciting because there were so many people,” he had said.
