In an interview with Fox News on Saturday, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham talked about gun control which has triggered a push back on social media.

When asked about gun control laws amid a surge in mass shootings in the United States, Graham said, “I own an AR-15. If there’s a natural disaster in South Carolina where the cops can’t protect my neighbourhood, my house will be the last one that the gang will come to, because I can defend myself.”

Further, he said that if the country really needs an assault weapons ban then lawmakers should bring it US Senate floor.

While commenting on President Joe Biden’s statement on the latest Georgian bill, he said that it’s “sick that the president of the United States played the race card continuously in such a hypocritical way.”
