Robbie Knievel, the stunt performer known for his spectacular motorcycle jumps, died of pancreatic cancer on Friday at a hospice in Reno, his brother Kelly Knievel confirmed. He was 60 years old.

Nicknamed ‘Daredevil’, Knievel endeared himself to the Americans with his infamous Caesars Palace jump in Las Vegas back in 1989 and the Grand Canyon leap in 1999 during which he fractured his leg, is survived by three daughters, Karmen and Krysten Knievel, and Maria Collins, as well as his brother Kelly.

“Daredevils don’t live easy lives,” Kelly Knievel said announcing his brother’s death on Friday. “He was a great daredevil. People don’t really understand how scary it is what my brother did.”

Who are Krysten, Karmen and Maria?

Kelly Knievel said that at the time of his brother’s death, all of his three daughters were by his side at the Reno hospice. 

Krysten Knievel Hansson is a recruitment specialist and a singer. At present, she works for Caravel Autism Health, a service provider for people with autism, as a recruitment specialist.

As a singer, she was previously employed by the National Basketball Association (NBA) franchise Chicago Bulls to sing the national anthem before matches. She worked with the Bulls from 2010 to 2013.

She is also the lead singer of her own amateur rock music group Knievel’s Daredevil Band.

Krysten now lives in Chicago with her family.

Karmen Knievel, his second daughter, lives in Missoula, Montana. Details about her personal and professional life are not available in the public domain.

Her third daughter, Maria Collins, is from Waldport, Oregon. Like Karmen, her details are also not publicly available.
