Multiple people have been reportedly injured after a shooting at Peck Park, San Pedro, Los Angeles, California. As per Fox, three people are dead and six are hurt. 

Meanwhile, ABC reported that seven people have been injured, at least three by gunshots.

A Twitter user posted photos of the aftermath of the event, showing people injured by gunshots. Fox News shared the same images. Viewers beware, the following pictures are disturbing and of a graphic nature. 

Los Angeles Fire Department first responders and officers from the Los Angeles Police Department are at the scene. The incident took place at the 560 block of North Western Avenue. 

The gunshots were reportedly heard near the vicinity of a car show taking place in the park, which is a popular recreational venue for people living there. 

Early reports indicate there’s more than one shooter.

The secondary shooting site was north of Peck Park as per an independent journalist, Joshua Jared.

Since the assailants were at large, the Los Angeles Police Department has issued a city-wide tactical alert

CBS reporter Laurie Perez also tweeted that cops warned suspects are in “body armour”. 

As per Fox, one suspect is now in custody. 

The LAPD has now confirmed that Peck Park no longer has an active shooter situation. 

The tweet from their profile notes “Unknown number or condition of victims at this time.” 

According to Los Angeles fire Department, at least seven people were injured after gunfire erupted Sunday afternoon at or near a car show in San Pedro’s Peck Park.

At least three of the victims suffered gunshot wounds, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. All seven victims were taken to nearby hospitals, including two who were in critical condition, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
