Kevin Clark, the actor who played Freddy %u2018Spazzy McGee%u2019 Jones in the musical comedy film %u2018School of Rock%u2019 was killed when his bicycle got struck by a car in Chicago on Wednesday. The 32-year-old actor had run a red light in the Avondale neighbourhood, said police.

The emergency responders found Clark partially under the car that hit him. Following which he was rushed to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.

%u2018School of Rock%u2019 is a comedy film directed by Scott Rudin and starring Jack Black.

Black took to Instagram to express his grief. %u201CDevastating news. Kevin is gone. Way too soon. Beautiful soul. So many great memories. Heartbroken%u201D. He then wished well to Clark%u2019s family and the whole %u2018School of Rock%u2019 community.

After his feature in %u2018School of Rock%u2019, Clark pursued his career as a drummer. He was most recently seen at Legendary Wooden Nickel in the Chicago suburb of Highwood along with Jess Bess and the Intentions.
