In NW Miami-Dade, a man was airlifted to the hospital following a shooting outside the Sedano’s Supermarket on Saturday morning, a confirmation made by the Miami-Dade Police.
The incident unfolded a little after 9:00 AM at the Sedano’s situated at NW 183rd Street and 67th Avenue, as reported by witnesses. Multiple gunshots were fired, prompting a swift response from law enforcement and emergency services.

According to an account from a witness speaking to NBC6, a man who sustained injuries during the shooting sought refuge in the market until police and fire rescue personnel arrived. This information was subsequently verified by Miami-Dade police.
In the preliminary stages of the investigation, a spokesperson for Miami-Dade indicated uncertainty regarding the circumstances of the shooting. It remains unclear whether the vehicle from which the shots were fired was in motion, or if the shooter exited on foot, discharged the weapon into the vehicle, and then reentered another nearby car.
The injured man reportedly visited two other establishments in an attempt to find medical assistance before ultimately collapsing at the Sedano’s supermarket.
A witness on the scene suggested the use of a possible submachine gun as the weapon involved. Video footage provided to NBC6 depicted a white van with over 10 bullet holes on its side, illustrating the intensity of the incident.
