Punxsutawney Phil may be the most well-known groundhog forecaster, but he is by no means the only one. Staten Island Chuck of New York City predicted an early spring during a gathering on Thursday at the Staten Island Zoo.
This Groundhog Day, Sir Walter Wally didn’t offer any weather forecasts.
The renowned groundhog has made the decision to retire, according to a Monday announcement from the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.

Chuck predicts an early spring because he did not see his shadow on Groundhog Day.
The zoo livestreamed this year’s prediction because visitors haven’t been allowed there since the outbreak began.
Chuck has an accuracy rate of 80% and has predicted whether there will be an early spring or six more weeks of winter for the previous 13 years, according to Zoo Board of Trustees President William Frew.

Octorara Orphie from Lancaster, PA
In front of a gathering of between 200 and 300 individuals, Octoraro Orphie gave his 115th forecast at the Slumbering Groundhog Lodge of Quarryville in Kirkwood.
Orphie announced that he did not see his shadow, bringing on spring, with the assistance of Groundhog Gov. Charlie Hart.
Grover from Pine Grove
Groundhog “Grover,” who lives in Sweet Arrow Lake, failed to see his shadow on Friday morning near Pine Grove, signaling an early spring for Schuylkill County, The Republican Herald reported.

According to his caretaker Bob Will, Dave the groundhog didn’t see his shadow this morning, Post Journal reported.
