A shooting incident occurred in South Los Angeles early on Monday morning at the intersection of Hooper Avenue and Firestone Boulevard. The incident claimed the life of one person at the scene and another man later died from his wounds in a hospital.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the gunshot incident happened at the junction of Firestone Boulevard and Hooper Avenue around 2:50 a.m. in the morning.
Multiple rounds were fired at the crossroads during the incident, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. One victim was discovered dead at the scene, while the other passed away from his injuries in the hospital.
The Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that deputies were informed of a street takeover in the vicinity at the time of the shooting in South Los Angeles.

Law enforcement officials and community residents are now more concerned with the risks involved with street takeovers as a result of this episode. LASD Homicide Detective Omar Camacho stated the dangers of such gatherings, pointing out that several shootings, fights, and automobile collisions frequently happen there.
Meanwhile, another shooting incident occurred near the West End, Cincinnati. On Monday afternoon, Cincinnati police responded quickly to a shooting that left two persons hurt in the West End.

The incident happened close to the intersection of Findlay and Linn Streets, according to the responding cops. Both victims were adults, and after being taken to a hospital, one of them was in a stable but critical condition. The second victim was hurt, although not seriously.
The police officials are still investigating the incident and are looking for all the possible angles that could caused the incident.
