Stacy Dash, who identifies as a Black conservative and Donald Trump supporter, recently changed her stance about the former president and wants to give the new President, Joe Biden, a chance, NBC News reported.

Dash was a contributor at Fox News but she was fired after she cursed on national television while discussing Barack Obama’s speech on terrorism. Moreover, during her career as a paid contributor and commentator on Fox News, she made several controversial statements over the years.

She had negated the validity of Black History Month saying that she doesn’t believe such a thing should be celebrated since there is nothing like White History Month. She had also said that there was no longer any need for specific award shows that honour the black community.

However, now, Dash claims to be a different person. She said that her opinions were coming from a point of anger and arrogance. The kind of person she is now is not angry and that person would now never work for Fox News. The kind of person she claims to be now is kind and empathetic.

Dash had also filed her nomination to run for Congress in 2018 but withdrew her nomination after a month saying that she realised that the move would affect the mental well-being of her family.

She said that her views about Trump changed drastically especially after the Capitol Hill violence earlier this year because she claims to denounce such ‘senseless violence’, dismissing the incident as stupid and appalling.

Dash, who is prominently known for the teen-movie, ‘Clueless’, also opened up about how her opinions made it difficult for her to get acting jobs in the industry.

She had also expressed her pro-life stance and had said that it was coming from a place of personal experience why she is against abortion and had also acted as a doctor in an anti-abortion movie. She says that she is not a feminist and believes that women should love and care for women and vice-versa.
