Stephen Curry made the crowd go wild at the Chase Center Arena in San Francisco, California, in a National Basketball Association (NBA) game against the Los Angeles Clippers, on Friday. Playing for the Golden State Warriors of the NBA, Curry was in video game mode as he didn’t seem to miss anything, finishing with 25 points in the first quarter.

This is how his stats looked:

25 points.

9-9 shooting.

5-5 from deep.

1 quarter in on TNT.

“Stephen Curry ties his career-high for a first quarter with 25 points (high in any quarter is 28), his 35th career 20-point quarter (11th in the first frame). Curry hit a perfect 9-of-9 from the field, 5-of-5 from three and 2-of-2 from the free throw line,” read a Warriors’ statement.

In the first 10 minutes of the game, he scored 18 points, 7/7 FG, 4/4 from 3.

His performance even got a shoutout from Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James. “@StephenCurry30 You’re SICK Man!!!!!” read a tweet from James.

At the end of Q1, Golden State Warriors led Los Angeles Clippers 44-27.

In the Warriors’ last match against the Lakers, Curry scored 21 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Even though the six-time champions were on the winning side, Curry was left unimpressed with his own performance and said that he ‘played like trash’ during a post-match interview.

“Obviously, I played like trash,” Curry told TNT’s Allie LaForce during his on-court interview.

“Shot the ball terribly. But if we can win a game like that where we create some good shots and stuck with it defensively against a pretty good team and get a win like that, that’s a good omen for us.”

“We kept our composure and didn’t turn the ball over in the second half, which was a huge benefit to just maintaining the pace and giving ourselves some looks,” Curry said.

“But the fact that everybody who was on the floor contributed in a meaningful way kind of speaks to our depth and how we want to play going forward. We’re excited about that and it’s good to be 1-0.”
