WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Lynn Sytch was reportedly taken into custody in New Jersey on Thursday morning for unlawfully possessing a weapon and making terroristic threats

According to court records, obtained by TMZ, the 49-year-old was arrested in Keansburg and booked in Monmouth County jail. She has been charged with two counts of illegally possessing a weapon and 1 charge for terroristic threats.

New Jersey’s Code of Criminal Justice states that “A person is guilty of a crime of the third degree if he threatens to commit any crime of violence with the purpose to terrorize another or to cause evacuation of a building, place of assembly, or facility of public transportation, or otherwise to cause serious public inconvenience, or in reckless disregard of the risk of causing such terror or inconvenience.”

“A violation of this subsection is a crime of the second degree if it occurs during a declared period of national, State or county emergency. The actor shall be strictly liable upon proof that the crime occurred, in fact, during a declared period of national, State or county emergency.”

This is not the first time Sytch is facing issues with the law. In February 2019, she was arrested for the 6th time on DUI charges. The previous year, she was behind bars for close to 8 months. Following her release from jail, she went to rehab and promised to stay clean.  

In 2020, she was taken into custody for multiple alleged offenses including eluding a police officer. She by the Middletown Township Police Department and booked into the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
