Business Tycoon and cryptocurrency supporter, Elon Musk whose social media posts largely impact the crypto market prices, on Thursday said in a tweet that he has not and will not consider selling any of his dogecoin holdings. Dogecoin is a cryptocurrency created in 2013 inspired by the jokes and memes that emerged at the time but Elon’s tweets on this digital currency have contributed to the company’s dramatic rise.

Musk’s tweet came in response to a user who believed that Tesla CEO would ever sell any of his Doge holdings and will remain the ultimate holder of the currency.

Musk, an ardent advocate of cryptocurrency, appeared earlier this month on “Saturday Night Live” and called it a ‘hustle’.

Earlier this week, Musk tweeted that his auto company Tesla will no longer accept Bitcoin for car purchases citing climate concerns.

This tweet by Musk sent the globally dominant currency crashing over 7%.
