The Mega Millions jackpot has risen to $1.02 billion after no ticket matched all six winning numbers in Tuesday night’s drawing.

“All jurisdictions have reported in, and no one has hit the Mega Million jackpot So, the jackpot will roll to $1,025,000,000 for Friday ($602.5 million cash),” CNN revealed.

The winning numbers on Tuesday night were 7, 29, 60, 63, 66, and the Mega Ball 15. The next drawing will take place on Friday at 11 p.m. ET.

Despite the fact that no one hit the jackpot on Tuesday, several winners received large payouts. After matching the first five numbers, eight tickets won $1 million each.

Another winning ticket sold in Ohio that matched the first five numbers was worth $3 million because it included an optional Megaplier purchased for $1 more.

According to the Mega Millions website, if a winning ticket is found on Friday, the $1.02 billion jackpot will be the third largest in the game’s 20-year history.

According to the lottery, the largest Mega Millions jackpot was $1.537 billion on October 23, 2018, for a ticket sold in South Carolina. On January 22, 2021, a group of four players in Michigan won a $1.05 billion jackpot.

The Mega Millions website received 62 million requests in 24 hours, according to Kilbane. The Mega Millions website was so busy Tuesday night that it went down shortly after the 11 p.m. drawing – though it appeared to improve as traffic slowed.

This year, four Mega Millions jackpots have been won in Tennessee, California, New York, and Minnesota.

From Tuesday night’s drawing, there were 6,775,330 winning tickets across all prize levels. The Mega Millions second prize was won by nine tickets that matched the five white balls. Because it came with the optional Megaplier, one of those sold in Ohio was worth $3 million. The remaining eight Match 5 tickets were each worth $1 million, with two each sold in New Jersey and New York, as well as one each in California, Florida, Illinois, and Ohio.
