“Time will tell,” Donald Trump on Friday almost admitted his loss in November 3 elections, while talking about him remaining the president of the United States. This was the closest Trump came to admit his election defeat as the Republican has refused to concede his election defeat to Democrat Joe Biden.

Trump was speaking at a briefing at the White House on the COVID-19 pandemic, where he said a vaccine would be available within “a matter of weeks”.

“Ideally we won’t go to a lockdown,” the Republican President said., adding, “I will not go. This administration will not be going to a lockdown.

He further said, “Hopefully, the, the whatever happens in the future, who knows which administration it will be, I guess time will tell.”

Trump’s remarks on the presidential race on Friday were first since November 5 when he claimed falsely to have won the elections while the US networks projected Biden as the winner of elections on November 7.

On Friday, US Networks projected that the 77-year-old Democrat, who has started his transition to the White House, won the state of Georgia, giving him 306 votes in the Electoral college votes. Trump has, meanwhile, won the state of North Carolina and is currently at 232 electoral colleges votes.
