Derrick Henry

The Tennessee Titans running back is in a league of his own with ridiculous numbers boasting on his stats-sheet through the first five games of the 2021 season.

Henry has 142 rushing attempts (excluding sacks), gained 640 rushing yards with seven rushing touchdowns, making him the best running back there is so far this season.

Henry was drafted by the Titans in the second round (45th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Henry will be up against the Buffalo Bills next in Week 6.

Austin Ekeler

Ekeler plays as a running back for the Los Angeles Chargers who has 67 rushing attempts (excluding sacks), 349 rushing yards (excluding sacks) and four rushing touchdowns through the first five weeks of the 2021 season of the NFL.

Ekeler, who is seen as a safe inclusion on fantasy teams, will face the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6. Ekeler is one to look out for especially because of the Ravens defense struggling against opposing running backs.

Ezekiel Elliot

In the five games Elliot has played so far, the Dallas Cowboys running back has 85 rushing attempts (excluding sacks), gained 452 rushing yards (excluding sacks), with five rushing touchdowns in the 2021 season so far.

The two time rushing champ’s impressive performance through the first five games has earned him crucial fantasy points early on and according to his teammate Dak Prescott, Elliot is in the “best shape of his life”, which could only mean Elliot has no plans of slowing down.

As far as the next fixture is concerned, Elliott was limited on Wednesday after he suffered a ribs injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game against the New York Giants.

Nick Chubb

Chubb is a Cleveland Browns running back who was drafted in the second round (35th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft. 

He has played five games so far with 90 rushing attempts (excluding sacks), 523 rushing yards (excluding sacks) gained and four rushing touchdowns.

Chubb’s stats so far make him a promising pick for any fantasy team with his dynamic play intensifying as the season progresses.

Aaron Jones

The Green Bay Packers running back has 70 rushing attempts (excluding sacks), gaining 309 rushing yards (excluding sacks) with two rushing touchdowns through the first five weeks of football so far.

Jones will next face the Chicago Bears over the weekend, hoping to become a hot property in fantasy football.
