Florida authorities have issued a formal warning to the Mar-a-Lago club which is owned by the businessman-turned-US President Donald Trump. The warning was issued with a video in which members of the club can be seen violating COVID-19 restrictions on New Year’s eve.

The warning letter issued by Palm Beach County said, “It seemed that based on the video evidence, there was a breakdown in enforcement of the mask orders that led to almost the entire room of guests being without masks during the later evening activities”, reported AFP.

The warning was issued to Brend Lembcke after the outgoing President’s son, Donald Trump Jr, posted a video on social media which was captioned “Ok this is amazing. Vanilla Ice is playing the Mar-a-Lago New Year’s Eve party. As a child of the 90s you can’t fathom how awesome that is.”

The video clearly shows a crowd dancing in front of the stage with no regards to the rules of social distancing or wearing a mask in public places.
