Trump Media and Technology Group, an organisation owned by former United States President Donald Trump, is all set to launch its digital and social media platform called ‘TRUTH Social’. The news, which was announced in a press release, of the platform comes nearly 9 months after Trump was restricted from accessing his accounts on Twitter, Twitch, YouTube and many more such platforms.
Here is what we know so far about TRUTH Social:
-The platform will be up for soft release, which includes the Beta version of the site, in November this year. However, the access will only be on the basis of an invite.
-The full rollout is expected to happen in the first quarter of 2022, according to the press release from Trump Media and Technology Group.

-Those who wish to register early for the upcoming social media platform can sign up on the website using their names and email addresses.
-The organisation owned by the former United States President cleared its objective in the press release. The media group said that its aim was to “create a rival to the liberal media consortium and fight back against the ‘Big Tech’ companies of Silicon Valley”.
-TRUTH Social says on its homepage that it “encourages an open, free, and honest global conversation without discriminating against political ideology”.

-On the other hand, the terms of service of the platform do not permit the users to “disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm, in our opinion, us and/or the Site”, according to reports from NPR.
The former President said that the ‘TRUTH Social’ platform has been designed in a way to present an alternative to social networks like Twitter and YouTube.
Trump said in a statement, “Everyone asks me why does not someone stand up to Big Tech? Well, we will be soon”, according to media reports.
