Tucker Carlson, a former Fox News personality who was fired by the network last month, announced on Tuesday that he would be back hosting his program on Twitter “soon.” Carlson promised to “bring some other things too, which we will tell you about” later in a video message shared on Twitter.
Carlson didn’t specifically mention Fox News in a three-minute video he sent to his millions of followers, choosing instead to criticize what he called “groupthink” in the news industry as a whole.

The ability to tell the whole truth is the ultimate goal for anyone working in the journalism industry, according to Carlson in his brief monologue. He however did admit that this freedom is always subject to some restrictions.
Tucker Carlson’s new show:
“Starting soon, we’ll be bringing a new version of the show we’ve been doing for the last six and a half years to Twitter,” Carlson said in a video posted on Twitter. “We bring some other things too, which we’ll tell you about. But for now, we’re just grateful to be here.”
Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, spoke with Carlson in two parts for a Fox News interview a few weeks prior to Carlson’s revelation.
Musk, a self-described “free speech absolutist,” has stated that he wants to turn Twitter into a forum where people can express a variety of opinions.
