The major pharmacies of the US have jumped in
to help the federal government in their mission to vaccinate the whole country
for COVID-19 with all the major chains now offering the vaccine to the general
public.

Vaccination efforts in the country started slowly
but have picked up pace in recent times and now received another shot in the
arm with pharmacies entering the fray.

Here are a few pharmacies that will offer the
vaccination service.

Publix: Publix is taking appointments from
February 10 to give the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to eligible candidates at its
593 pharmacies in 41 Florida counties, using doses provided by the state and
federal government. Publix pharmacies have also given the vaccine to people in
Georgia, South Carolina and Virginia.

Costco: Costco’s COVID-19 vaccination service
with Moderna jab is limited to a few locations in New York City, Oregon, Puerto
Rico and Washington. The announcement was made on the company website.

Kroger: Kroger pharmacies also have a limited
supply of the vaccine. The company is offering the service at some locations in
Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana,
Kentucky, Louisiana, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Utah, Washington,
West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Walmart: COVID-19 vaccination is available in
Walmart pharmacies in 22 states as they are getting federal vaccine allocations
from February 12. The states where the retail chain is offering the service
include Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana,
Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada,
Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Wyoming. Use Walgreens’ appointment scheduler, to make your bookings.

The retail giant is also giving vaccinations
using state allocation in 11 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
