After going viral on social media and giving birth to a variety of memes, Will Smith and Chris Rock’s altercation at the Oscars only seems to be grabbing more attention, thanks to more videos of the incident surfacing on the internet. 

A newly viral video recorded from a different angle displays Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith laughing after her husband slapped comedian Chris Rock at the event on Sunday. 

The video was recorded by an attendee sitting merely two rows from the stage at the event. Since its upload, the video has garnered over 400,000 views and more than 1,700 comments. 

The footage features Smith walking off the stage and taking his seat after slapping the comedian. 

“Wow, Will Smith just smacked the s**t out of me!” says Rock. 

The video goes on to display Pinkett Smith’s head moving forward with laughter. 

 “#jadapinkettsmith laughing at #chrisrock getting smacked by her husband,” reads the caption. 

Reacting to the video, one Instagram user wrote, “She’s really ruining Will’s life.”

Another user added, “She got will on a leash.”

One user stated, “She should’ve kept that same energy during the joke.”

The Smiths have not yet responded to the video. 

The televised altercation occurred when Rock made a joke about Pinkett Smith’s shaved head, comparing her to actor Demi Moore’s bald character from the 1997 film ‘G.I. Jane’.

On the other hand, another video circulating on the internet features a brooding Chris Rock appearing embarrassed minutes after being smacked on stage. 

Uploaded on TikTok, the video shows Rock lost in thought as he is about to present a statuette.
