A rumor has gone viral on social media that Fox News host Laura Ingraham might be leaving the network after reports that the right-wing media house is shaking up its primetime slots and there was no mention of how Ingraham can fit into its schedule.

Independent journalist Brian Krassenstein wrote on Twitter: “Fox News is reportedly moving around their evening lineup and right now there is no mention of Laura Ingraham, meaning she may be out. With Tucker Carlson being fired and moving over to Twitter, Fox News’s new lineup appears to be as follows: – Sean Hannity 8PM – Jesse Watters 9PM – Greg Gutfeld 10PM To all those on the left, what are your thoughts if Ingraham actually is gone? To those on the right, do you approve or disapprove?”

This means Hannity will be taking over Carlson’s former 8 pm slot. Back in April, ox News announced that they are parting with longtime host, Carlson, effective immediately.

It is important to note that neither Fox News nor Ingraham has released any statement regarding the same or indicated that they might be parting ways. The only statement quoted by MeidasTouch from Fox News is, “No decision has been made on a new primetime lineup and there are multiple scenarios under consideration.”

If Fox News is really planning on showing Ingraham the door, there is a possibility that they will not be making a big fuss out of it. Carlson’s ouster from Fox News was also a quiet affair. “FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” the company simply said in a statement when he was ousted. “We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”

Even when his last program aired on Friday, the host did not give any indication that he was leaving Fox News in his last segment. Instead, he stated that he would be back on Monday but hours later, his audience got to know that the Monday would never come.

The company also never clarified whether Carlson was being taken off air due to the Dominion defamation case. “Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday, April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating Fox News personalities until a new host is named,” the network announced.

Just days before his ouster, Fox News’ parent company settled Dominion Voting Systems’ defamation lawsuit for $787.5 million. Carlson is presently preparing to launch his own show on Twitter.
