After the Milwaukee venue received a bomb threat on Saturday night, Patti LaBelle had to leave the stage in the middle of her performance.

LaBelle was holding a bouquet of flowers and addressing the audience when two men rushed onto the stage and grabbed the mic stand from her. The frightening incident at the Riverside Theater was caught on camera.

“Hold on. Wait!” One of the men pulls LaBelle by the arm and makes her drop the bouquet as she sobs. LaBelle’s free arm is taken by another man in black who rushes across the stage to the right.

As the men lead LaBelle offstage and the musicians leave their instruments to chase after the Godmother of Soul, the audience’s initial laughter gradually changes to bewildered murmurs.

A Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter tweeted a police release that stated that authorities evacuated everyone from the cinema and are looking into the threat.

Customers waiting on the street for an update on the situation are captured in another video that was shot outside the theatre.
