American pop star Taylor Swift released her new song ‘Renegade’ on Friday. The song is created in collaboration with Aaron Dessner and Justin Vernon’s ‘Big Red Machine’. This album marks the first of two collaborations with between Swift and Big Red Machine’.

Taking to Instagram,Taylor also wrote a long emotional note for her Renegade partners and shared the official video of the song.

“I can’t believe I get to work with Aaron Dessner. When Aaron came into my life, I was ushered into his world of free-flowing creativity where you don’t overthink, you just make music. His generosity of spirit and humility bleeds into every part of his life, and that’s why so many artists have jumped at the chance to be a part of his collaborative project, Big Red Machine. A song we wrote (which also features Justin Vernon) is out today! It’s called Renegade. Thanks Aaron for asking me to show up at your party,” Swift wrote on IG.

However, Renegade is not the first collaboration between Taylor Swift and Dessner. Before this, he co-produced and co-wrote Swift’s 2020 blockbuster albums “Folklore” and “Evermore.’

The group’s second album, which
is called ‘How Long Do You Think It’s Gonna Last?’, is set to release on August
27.

Recently, Taylor Swift announced
that will rework her 2012 album ‘Red’, and release a revamped version of the
song on November 19. It wouldn’t be unjustified to say that Red is one of her
record-smashing albums that pushed Swift into the major leagues of the American
music industry.
