A viral video shows a Tesla driver rushing through an intersection, leaping into the air, and slamming into a parked car in Echo Park.

Saturday night’s event occurred in the 1900 block of Baxter St.

A video released on YouTube shows a Tesla driving through a steep residential street, where the car gains air and nearly flies 50 feet. The Tesla collided with multiple trashcans on the sidewalk before crashing into a parked Subaru.

Neighbours say it’s terribly unsafe, and they’re furious that cops aren’t doing anything about it.

The rental 2018 Tesla was left on the site. There is no description of the driver at this time.

According to the LAPD, the driver, who is still on the loose, will face hit-and-run charges.

A $1,000 reward is being offered to anybody who gives information that leads to “the offender’s identity, capture, and conviction or resolution through a civil agreement,” according to the LAPD.

Meanwhile, a California state agency recently sued Tesla Inc (TLSA.O) for condoning systemic discrimination against Black workers at its facility, echoing changes made in numerous previous instances against the electric car company.

According to the case filed in state court, Tesla’s Fremont, California, plant is racially segregated, and Black workers are subjected to racial insults and discriminated against in job assignments, wages, and promotions.

The electric car firm is already facing at least four-employee racial discrimination cases, and it is appealing a $137 million verdict award in October to a Black former Fremont plant worker.
