Christian Obumseli, 27, was stabbed on April 3 by Courtney Clenney, also known as Courtney Tailor on Instagram and OnlyFans. She was apprehended in Hawaii and accused of murder in August. Clenney’s lawyer said that when the 26-year-old attacked Obumseli, she was acting in self-defense.

State prosecutors said that Clenney was at risk of fleeing due to the funds that she had earned on websites like OnlyFans, and on Thursday a court refused her release. According to CBS Miami, Clenney, who has more than 2 million fans on OnlyFans, made over $900,000 in 2020 and more than $1.8 million the subsequent year.

Clenney attacked her boyfriend Christian Obumseli, a cryptocurrency trader, with a kitchen knife in their fancy apartment over a year ago. The wrongful death lawsuit was brought by the victim’s father, Chio Obumseli, against Clenney, the owners of the high-rise building where the altercation took place, as well as the management and security firms for the restricted property.

As the person in charge of Christian’s estate, Chio asserts that when Clenney killed her lover with a knife, she did not “maintain the subject premises in a safe and danger-free manner.” Clenney is accused of being careless in the lawsuit because “an atmosphere was created at subject building that facilitated the commission of crimes against persons.”

Although Obumseli’s family is based in Richardson, at the time of his passing, he was residing in Miami with Clemmey. The grieving family stated in the case that they are demanding compensation for their loss of support, emotional distress, and burial and medical expenditures.

According to the Miami Herald, Clenney had a history of using weapons to assault Obumseli during their increasingly stormy relationship. State attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle claimed the two had a ‘violent and toxic two-year relationship’. She also characterized their romance as ‘tempestuous and combative’.
