President Joe Biden officially announced his bid for the 2024 presidential race, which in his case will be to get elected to the office he already occupies with Vice President Kamala Harris.
He asked voters to give him more time to “finish the job” that he vowed to do when he was in office. He also urged the voters to set aside their concerns about his age and re-elect America’s oldest president for another four years.

If Biden is granted a second term, he will be 86 when he completed eight years in office. The 46th POTUS is currently betting it all on the fact that his legislative achievements and more than 50 years of experience in Washington will be enough to drown out any concerns over his age. As for rivals within his own party, challenging him in the Presidential bids, there are no such Democratic competitors as such. As a result, when it comes to the Democratic Primaries, his path would be smooth sailing.
However, when it comes to the main battle, Biden will be facing his 2020 rival, former President Donald Trump again in a nation that is more divided than ever before.
What is Biden-Harris 2024 slogan?
Biden made the announcement in a three-minute video, which was launched on the four-year anniversary of when Biden declared for the White House in 2019. He promised to heal the “soul of the nation” at that time — a goal he claims still works.

“Freedom. Personal freedom is fundamental to who we are as Americans. There’s nothing more important. Nothing more sacred,” Biden said. “Around the country, MAGA extremists are lining up to take those bedrock freedoms away. This is not a time to be complacent. That’s why I’m running for reelection.”
He continued: “When I ran for president four years ago, I said we’re in a battle for the soul of America, and we still are. This is not a time to be complacent. That’s why I’m running for re-election. Let’s finish this job. I know we can.”
While it is not confirmed, Biden-Harris’ 2024 slogan might be let’s finish this job.
