A top Donald Trump official on Friday said that the White House has been planning for President Donald Trump’s second term despite his unsuccessful reelection bid on November 3.
The 45th President Donald Trump’s trade advisor Peter Navarro in an interview to Fox Business Network said that “We are moving forward here at the White House under the assumption that there will be a second Trump term.”
The sitting President is yet to concede to President-Elect Joe Biden following his defeat to the Democratic nominee on November 3.
The 74-year-old has made few public appearances since his election night defeat launching legal challenges across the country and indulging in Twitter tirades.

Navarro added, “What we seek here is verifiable ballots, certifiable ballots and an investigation into what are growing numbers of allegations of fraud under signed affidavits by witnesses.”
Lamenting what he called “an immaculate deception,” Navarro said any speculation about what Biden might do on trade policy or with regard to China “I think is moot at this point.”
