Allen Curcio Adams Jr. and Alexander Brice Alvarado, two Adelanto teens, were arrested in connection to The Shops shooting at Palm Desert on February 2, the sheriff’s department announced.

On February 2nd, a shooting occurred in the parking lot of The Shops at Palm Desert, with over 40 rounds fired. Reportedly, no one was hurt during the incident. 

“The investigation revealed there was an exchange of gunfire between two vehicles in the parking lot. One of the stores in the mall was temporarily locked down for precautionary measures,” told Sgt. Deirdre Vickers, Public Information Officer in Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Who are Allen Curcio Adams Jr. and Alexander Brice Alvarado?

Allen Curcio Adams Jr. and Alexander Brice Alvarado are 19-year-old residents of Adelanto, California. They were both arrested and booked into Banning’s Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the shooting at The Shops at Palm Desert. 

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the incident was a car-to-car, gang-related shooting, with over 40 rounds fired. The suspects have prior felony convictions, which could potentially worsen their legal situation. The investigation into the shooting resulted in several search warrants being written and served, including at the suspects’ residence, where they were arrested.
