Who are Tequan Hines and Asia?

Tequan Hines and Asia are a couple from Portsmouth, Virginia.

Hines and his partner Asia, both from Portsmouth, Virginia, stirred uproar last week when one of their video went viral.

The video, which has since been removed from their Instagram account, opens with the couple walking down a local supermarket’s freezer department. Tequan encourages Asia to open a tub of soft whip ice cream and lick the top when he is confident no one is looking.

Tequan then asks Asia to carry it over her shoulder as he secretly films her on his phone.

‘Let me taste it. Let me taste it,’ he murmurs quietly in the background.

Asia stares down the aisle, concerned that they would be apprehended, and hollers, ‘Hurry up, hurry up!’

As the pair have no intention of buying the ice cream, the mother then rushes to put the container back in the freezer.
