The Try Guys, an online entertainment group on YouTube, recently announced the departure of one of their cast members, Ned Fulmer.

In a five minute video titled, what happened, cast members Eugene Lee Yang, Zach Kornfeld, and Keith Habersberger opened up about the departure of Fulmer and explained that he had been let go after a “nonconsensual workplace relationship” with an employee. Habersberger said that the trio had not been aware of Fulmer’s behaviour, putting to rest rumours that suggested otherwise.

Fulmer confirmed this relationship shortly after it came to light, triggering a series of meetings with lawyers and damage control from Human resources and public relations reps.

Shortly after the video went up, the departing cast member posted an apology on Instagram, writing, “Family should have always been my priority, but I lost focus and had a consensual workplace relationship. I’m sorry for any pain that my actions may have cause to the guys and the fans but most of all to Ariel. The only thing that matters right now is my marriage and my children, and that’s where I am going to focus my attention.”
