An 18-year-old identified as Cesar Olalde has been arrested for a mass shooting at his home in Nash, Texas on Tuesday. He has been arrested on capital murder charges, as reported by police officials.

Who is Cesar Olalde?
Cesar Olalde is an 18-year-old man. He has been arrested for killing his parents and his two siblings, on asking about the reason for the horrific act. Olalde said, “they were cannibals, and they were going to eat him”.
Police said they received a report of a man harming his family and threatening to kill himself on Tuesday, after the report, the officers acted and rushed to his home, where they found Olalde barricaded inside the house. They found multiple people dead inside as they rushed in.

According to a probable cause affidavit by Nash Police Officer Craig Buster, Olalde confessed to the police, and said, “he had pulled the trigger, and shot his family”.
After they rushed the scene, officers persuaded Olalde to surrender and later retrieved the bodies of his parents identified as Reuben Olalde and Aida Garcia, and his siblings Lisbent Olalde and Oliver Olalde in the bathroom.

According to the affidavit, “It appeared as if the victims had been shot at various places in the residence and drug to the bathroom”, it also stated there were “multiple spent cartridge casings” on the floor.
The police report stated Lisbet Olalde’s co-worker went to her home when Lisbet did not come to work that day. On forcing his way inside, he was confronted by Cesar Olalde, where Olalde pointed a gun at him.

The co-worker told police that Olalde admitted: “he had killed his family because they were cannibals, and they were going to eat him”.
