Several protesters, believed to be Antifa, descended on the University of California, Davis, to disrupt an event Tuesday evening headlined by conservative pundit and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
The school’s Turning Point chapter has organized the event. The protesters mostly wore black and clashed with students, police officers, and event attendees. They smashed windows, hurled eggs, and used pepper spray after surrounding the building. They also blocked people from entering the University Credit Union Center, which was the venue for the event.

There were at least two arrests. Videos of the disruption went viral on Twitter, prompting interest in Charlie Kirk’s life.

Kirk is married to Erika Frantzve. The couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter, in August 2022.
Who is Erika Frantzve?
Erika is a podcaster and businesswoman who won the Miss Arizona USA pageant competition in 2012. At the time, she was attending Arizona State University and studying political science and international relations. Although she competed for Miss USA, she did not enter the top 16.
Erika enrolled at Liberty University in 2017 to pursue a Juris Master’s degree. Five years later, she received her Doctorate in Christian Leadership from the same University. She owns Proclaim Streetwear, an apparel brand.

The brand hosts a self-improvement podcast Midweek Rise Up. According to the brand’s website, the motto of the brand is to spread the gospel through clothing.
She was first tagged in a photo with Charlie in June 2019, which led to people thinking that they started dating around this time.
Kirk proposed to Erika, in early December 2020. “When God crafts your love story, you get to marry your closest friend,” Frantzve said with photographs of the proposal on Instagram. She got married on May 8, 2021, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Erika marked the couple’s anniversary on May 8, 2022, by uploading photographs of the event.
