New allegations that white men used the n-word and made gun threats during the fight on the Alabama riverside have recently surfaced. Recent court documents acquired by TMZ state that a woman named Crystal Warren informed police that one of the white guys who attacked a Black deckhand shouted “F* that n***” before approaching him on the dock.

Who is Crystal Warren?

Crystal Warren is a witness of the Alabama riverfront brawl and has told the police that she saw the entire interaction. She has also claimed to be an employee on the riverboat.

Warren told authorities that when the riverboat captain first asked the boat owners to relocate their boat, the white guys on the boat responded with middle fingers and expletives. According to her, the riverboat was forced to wait for 17 minutes before a smaller commercial vessel picked up a deckhand and her 16-year-old son off the riverboat and put them off on the dock.

Warren states that at that point, the deckhand and her son Daniel tied back up the boats that were blocking the pier and relocated them. Warren also claims that she overheard at least one of the men scream the n-word. Additionally, she admitted that she overheard one of the white aggressors making threats to get a gun.

Warren claimed that one of the videos showed her son Daniel, who was injured after being hit in the chest while attempting to fend off the attackers, bruising his ribs. Richard Roberts, 48, the guy suspected of hitting 16-year-old Daniel, has been detained and charged with assault, and police say an investigation is still ongoing.
