Basketball legend Kobe Bryant’s daughter, Natalia, has been granted a restraining order against Dwayne Cortez Toliver Kemp, her alleged stalker in Los Angeles, her attorney Nick Sanchez told TMZ. 

As per the records, the 19-year-old filed for a civil harassment restraining order on Monday. It states that Kemp allegedly harassed her on social media when she was 17-years-old. He was 30 then.

The 19-year-old University of Southern California student, as per TMZ, got the TRO last month. In the document, she claimed that he had been stalking her since 2020 and was under a delusion they were in a romantic relationship.

“The judge was convinced Kemp is dangerous enough to warrant a 3-year order of protection. Just as the temporary restraining order required,” Sanchez told TMZ. As per the court order, Kemp now has to stay at least 200 yards away from Natalia her home, her job, her car, school and sorority house at USC.

He allegedly sent Natalia a message with a picture of her father, Kobe Bryant, saying that he hopes that the two can have a late Los Angeles star-like child together. 

Natalia testified in county court that she feared for her life after years of stalking, online and in-person.

Who is Dwayne Cortez Toliver Kemp?

Dwayne Cortez Toliver Kemp was 30 years old when he first messaged Natalia Bryant in 2020. He is now 32. He lives in Sun Valley, California, as per records. 

The 32-year-old is described as an online gun enthusiast in the filing. 

“Thankful For Him Birthing You, Hopefully We Can Birth Him… ‘Kobe,’” he wrote in a 2021 message, the filing said.

In November 2022, Kemp had posted three videos on his social media accounts as he was in the process of purchasing a rifle, also around the time he attempted to make contact with Bryant at USC, the filing said.

Kemp owns legally registered guns because he works as a security officer. He admitted that he did have a romantic interest in Bryant after she turned 19, but his intentions were neither malicious nor dangerous. He has been ordered to surrender or sell every firearm he owns.
