Donald Trump during his rally in Waco, Texas mentioned that Matt Gaetz has been married to a beautiful woman. The US representative for Florida’s 1st congressional district since 2017 is married to Ginger Luckey.

Who is Ginger Luckey?

Matt Gaetz eloped with his long-time girlfriend Ginger Luckey to southern California for a private ceremony on Catalina Island in 2021. The representative from Florida shared the news on Twitter, where he posted pictures of his wedding, saying “I love my wife!” in one of the posts.

Luckey is a food analyst from California. Currently, Luckey works at KPMG US as a Senior Associate. She joined the organization in October 2021. She worked with Apeel, a company focusing on extending the life of products made from plant-based materials and reducing food waste.

She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2016 with a degree in economics and accounting, according to her LinkedIn profile. She also enrolled at Harvard’s online business school to study sustainable business strategy.

Gaetz had proposed to Luckey at former president Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in December 2020, after which the two said they would marry next year. The wedding ceremony was attended by nearly 40 people and was officiated by Sergio Gor, a former staffer for senator Rand Paul.

Luckey’s brother is Palmer Luckey, who founded the virtual reality company Oculus VR before selling it to Facebook for around $2 billion in 2014. Palmer is also a Trump supported and has been a prominent fundraiser for the Republican Party. He is a dropout from California State University.

According to the Mail report, Luckey said in March 2021 that her job went totally remote at the start of the pandemic so she spent time “traveling with him everywhere” and said she is the lawmaker’s “travel buddy.”
